Neth FM Sambodhi Wesak Zone was announced on 16th May, 2011 at Gregory’s road with magnificent collection of Wesak Lanterns & illuminations displayed by three forces and police and were viewed by a massive crowd. Neth Kokila Wasanthaya 2011 2011-04-23 Dewlapitiya - Gampaha ‘Neth Kokila Wasanthaya’ 2011 Sinhala New Year Festival was successfully held at Divulapitiya public grounds on 23rd April with the participation of a breathtaking crowd despite the rain. There were many events unique for this festival such as Elephant Race, Marathon, Motor Cycle Race demonstration, Avurudu Kumari 73 participants and recorded number of 385 participants joined the blowing balloons event. ‘Kokila Wasanthaya’ was talk of the town and undoubtedly the nations avurudu festival of the year.
