We broadcast FM 95MHz from Ocean Towers, Colombo, for the listeners of Bambalapitiya, Wallawattha, Dehiwala, Mount-lavinia, Rathmalana, Moratuwa, Kollupitiya, Greater Colombo, Kiribatgoda, Wattala, Ragama, Kandana, Jela, Miriswatta, Waliweriya, Kadawatha, Biyagama, Malabe, Rajagiriya, Boralla, Nugegoda, Maharagama, Kottawa, listeners of western province

All island frequency 105.9MHz from Magalkanda and Nayabadda covers Colombo, Gampaha,Kalutara Districts  of western province Rathnapura, Kagall Districts of Sabaragamuwa province Kurunagala,  Puttalam Districts of Wayamba province Badulla, Monaragala  Districts of Uva province and Ampara, Batticalo, trinco Districts of eastern province.

Frequency FM 93.9MHz from Gongala caters the listeners in Kalutara District of western province Rathnapura District of sabaragamuwa province, Galle, Matara, Hambantota Districts of southern province  and Monaragala District of  Uva province.

FM 105.4MHz from Laggala covers Kurunagala District of wayamba province Anuradapura, Polonnaruwa, Vouniya Districts of north central province Trincomale District of eastern province, Puttalama District of Wayamba province Manner Districts  of northern province.

Also we caters Kandy & Matale districts of central province from Hunnagiriya through 100.4MHz.

In addition through www.nethfm.com we capture a greater number of listeners rising overseas.

Transmitters

We are in the process of expanding the coverage and the transmitters with fully equipped with digital transmission (HD Radio System) and RDS,RBDS technology. Exploring the possibilities of HDRadio technology is like entering an alternate universe.

As a digital form of broadcasting, HD Radio has the ability to carry so much more over the allotted spectrum: more radio channels, more data, more of anything that can be digitized and packaged as content. Studio

At present we have 2 Hi tec broadcasting on air studios and one production studio with digital technology. With the state of art facility of the digital on-air console, a fully automated system is utilized for airing  songs and commercials also the program could be used to prepare play listing and scheduling of commercials.

Presently we broadcast 2 program line ups weekly; one is exclusively to Colombo and other lineup is for island wide listeners. We too have facility to root tailor made programs to down south, Uva and North Central with our own created concept "selective casting"

Neth – 95 FM exclusively catering to the Colombo listeners & NETH is the only channel in sri lanka which operates with only a system administrator which is fully automated to broadcast songs, dramas and commercials.

Digital Mixing Console is used for radio broadcasting applications The new STUDER ON-Air 1000 - brings reliable digital technology and proven Touch'n'Action operating concept. Studer's patented Touch'n'Action graphical user interface makes the STUDER ON-Air 1000 unique in its class. Mixer settings can be personalized and stored for each operator. Management of user access rights reduces the risk of human error during production and live transmission.

DJ-PRO of AXEL TECHNOLOGY is solution provider for the our automation System of  radio broadcasting. It is ideal in every situation, especially indicated for middle-big size radio stations. DJ-PRO will become the heart of the radio informative system, as it allows different kinds of configurations easily settable by a system administrator.

The studios are equipped with with standby CD players and MD players as to use for emergency, conditions and in addition this could be attractively designed and developed for productions and live broadcasting.

Audio Processing

We use three Audio processors to check the quality of the program; this will be randomly checked before broadcasting a specific program. These specific processors with its latest technologies processes speeches, songs separately

DSP provides comfortable headroom for future DSP improvements. Featuring versatile five-band and two-band processing for both analog FM transmission and digital radio, the 8500 provides the industry's most consistent sound, track-to-track and source-to-source. This consistency allows creating a sonic signature for the station with the assurance that the signature will stay locked in, uniquely branding the sound.

 

The 8500 provides stereo enhancement, equalization, AGC, multiband compression, low-IM peak limiting, stereo encoding, and composite limiting. 8500's superb DSP-based stereo encoder and composite limiter are assured that they deliver an FM analog signal that is always immaculately clean and perfectly peak limited, with full spectral protection of subcarriers and RDS/RBDS regardless of the amount of composite limiting.

Processing for digital radio/webcast (DR) is now supplied standard. We increase the base sample rate of all processing to 64 kHz so the DR output can readily provide 20 kHz audio bandwidth. Moreover, a built-in diversity delay in the analog processing path vastly improves installation versatility in HD Radio plants, freeing from the need to use the delay line built into the HD Radio exciter. This allows to use the 8500's built-in stereo encoder and composite limiter to drive the analog FM transmitter, ensuring no-compromise analog-channel loudness.

Disaster warning system

We are in the initial stage of implementing the same to inform the general public of Sri Lanka of any disasters occurs, through Radio Data System (RDS) technology. From this system we could easily inform the public of the disasters through a signaling system which will be sent through the radio waves and receives by the RDS receiver.
