Fighting in the Wanni yesterday (Sept. 03^rd) alone has killed 52 LTTE members and seven soldiers, said the Media Centre for National Security.

The clashes in Kilinochchi, Vavuniya and other areas also left 65 Tiger cadres and 50 soldiers wounded, while seven soldiers are missing.
